Tyler Bates (born June 5, 1965) is a prolific American composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist known for his iconic scores for blockbuster films, particularly in the action, sci-fi, and horror genres, including Guardians of the Galaxy, John Wick, 300, and Watchmen, often collaborating with directors like Zack Snyder, James Gunn, and Chad Stahelski; he's also a guitarist for Marilyn Manson and Jerry Cantrell, and a member of the 90s rock band Pet.
