Trevor Rabin
Trevor Charles Rabin (born January 13, 1954) is a South African-born musician and composer who successfully transitioned from progressive rock stardom to becoming one of Hollywood's most prolific film scorers. After gaining early fame with the band Rabbitt, he joined the legendary rock group Yes in 1983, revitalizing their career by writing the global hit "Owner of a Lonely Heart" and shifting the band toward a more modern, commercial sound on the album 90125. Following his departure from the band in the mid-90s, Rabin reinvented himself as a powerhouse film composer, crafting iconic, high-energy scores for blockbusters such as Armageddon (1998), National Treasure (2004), and Remember the Titans (2000). A multi-instrumentalist known for his technical precision, he has received numerous BMI Film Music Awards and remains a highly respected figure in both the rock and cinematic worlds.
