Sven Faulconer
Born in Ghent, Belgium, in 1980, Sven Faulconer is a Los Angeles-based composer for film and television known for his versatile and collaborative musical style. He began his musical journey at age eight as a passionate clarinetist and improviser, eventually studying at Ghent University and in Rome before completing the UCLA Film Scoring Program. Faulconer has established a prolific career, earning an ASCAP Top Box Office Screen Music Award for Scream VI and composing the score for the 2023 Academy Award–winning documentary The Elephant Whisperers. In addition to leading his own projects like Blood Father and Hellboy: The Crooked Man, he is a frequent collaborator with industry giants such as James Newton Howard and Brian Tyler, contributing additional music to major blockbusters including Top Gun: Maverick, Black Widow, and The Hunger Games series.
