
Peter Peter
Peter Peter (born 1984), born Peter Roy in Québec, is a Canadian singer-songwriter and composer who transitioned from alternative rock in the band Post-Scriptum to a successful solo career in Montreal, winning the "Ma Première Place des Arts" competition in 2008. After signing with Audiogram in 2009 and releasing his self-titled debut in 2011, he garnered critical attention with his 2013 album Une version améliorée de la tristesse and the 2024 Polaris Music Prize-longlisted album Éther. Known for his melancholic French-language synth-pop, he expanded into television scoring in 2025, composing the original music for the Crave series Heated Rivalry.
