Mark Mothersbaugh

Mark Mothersbaugh (born 1950) is an American musician, composer, and visual artist, best known as the co-founder, lead vocalist, and keyboardist for the influential new wave band Devo, famous for their hit "Whip It". He built a prolific career beyond Devo, composing scores for films (Wes Anderson, Thor: Ragnarok, The Lego Movie), TV shows (Rugrats, Pee-wee's Playhouse, Yo Gabba Gabba!), and video games (Crash Bandicoot, The Sims 2), often through his company Mutato Muzika, while also exhibiting his surreal art.
