Isabella Summers

Isabella Janet Florentina Summers, born October 31, 1980, in Hackney, London, is an acclaimed English composer, songwriter, and music producer who initially achieved global fame as a founding member and keyboardist of the indie rock band Florence and the Machine. Known by her nickname "Isa Machine", which partially inspired the band's moniker, she spent 14 years shaping the group's distinctive, cinematic sound, co-writing and producing massive, chart-topping hits like "Dog Days Are Over" and "Cosmic Love". Aside from collaborating with mega-artists like Beyoncé, she successfully pivoted to screen scoring, crafting atmospheric tracks for films like Snow White and the Huntsman (2012), and earning a prestigious Primetime Emmy Award nomination in 2020 for her work on the Hulu miniseries Little Fires Everywhere.
