The Cranberries
Formed in Limerick, Ireland, in 1989, The Cranberries—composed of singer Dolores O'Riordan, guitarist Noel Hogan, bassist Mike Hogan, and drummer Fergal Lawler—became one of the most successful alternative rock acts of the 1990s, selling over 40 million albums worldwide. Blending indie pop, jangle pop, and Irish folk influences, the band achieved global stardom with hits like "Linger," "Dreams," and the iconic protest song "Zombie". After releasing several chart-topping albums, the group took breaks before reuniting in 2009. Following the tragic death of lead singer Dolores O'Riordan in 2018, the band released their final album, In the End (2019), and disbanded.
