The Black Keys
The Black Keys are an American blues-rock duo formed in 2001 in Akron, Ohio, by singer/guitarist Dan Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney. Rising from the garage rock scene with a raw, indie sound often recorded in basements, they gained mainstream success with acclaimed albums Brothers (2010) and El Camino (2011). Known for their gritty, blues-influenced sound and Grammy-winning performances, the duo solidified their status as a major rock band over two decades of touring and recording.
