Joan Jett (born Joan Larkin, 1958) is a pioneering American rock singer, guitarist, and songwriter known as the "Godmother of Punk" and queen of rock 'n' roll. Rising to fame in the 70s with The Runaways, she later achieved massive solo success with The Blackhearts, anchored by hits like "I Love Rock 'n' Roll".
