Garbage is a Scottish-American alternative rock band formed in Madison, Wisconsin, in 1993, known for blending rock with electronic elements, featuring Scottish vocalist Shirley Manson and American producers/musicians Butch Vig (drums, production), Steve Marker (guitar, keyboards), and Duke Erikson (guitar, bass, keyboards).
