Andrew Fetterly Wilkes-Krier (born May 9, 1979), known professionally as Andrew W.K., is an American singer, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and motivational speaker renowned for his high-energy, party-themed hard rock and pop-metal music. Emerging in the early 2000s with hits like "Party Hard" and his debut album I Get Wet (2001), he established himself as a "party prophet" known for wearing a white t-shirt and, often, a blood-smeared face. Raised in Michigan, he started with classical piano before moving to New York to pursue music, later expanding his career to include motivational lectures, advice columns, and television hosting.
