Nina Dobrev

Nina Dobrev is a talented Canadian actress who achieved widespread global fame for her dual starring roles as Elena Gilbert and Katherine Pierce on the hit supernatural drama series The Vampire Diaries (2009–2015). Born Nikolina Kamenova Dobreva on January 9, 1989, in Sofia, Bulgaria, she moved to Toronto, Canada, at age two, where she trained in ballet, jazz, and rhythmic gymnastics before pursuing an acting career. She first gained recognition on Canadian television as Mia Jones in Degrassi: The Next Generation before transitioning to major Hollywood productions. Beyond her defining television success, Dobrev has built a diverse filmography across comedy, action, and romance, starring in movies such as The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012), Let's Be Cops (2014), xXx: Return of Xander Cage (2017), and the romantic comedy Love Hard (2021).
