Michelle Williams
Michelle Ingrid Williams (born September 9, 1980) is an American actress known for her emotional depth and penchant for complex roles in independent cinema and major dramas. She first gained widespread recognition as Jen Lindley on the teen drama Dawson's Creek (1998–2003) before making a seamless transition to film with her Academy Award-nominated performance in Brokeback Mountain (2005). Williams has since become a critical powerhouse, earning four more Oscar nominations for her work in Blue Valentine (2010), My Week with Marilyn (2011), Manchester by the Sea (2016), and The Fabelmans (2022). She is also a Golden Globe and Emmy winner for her portrayal of Gwen Verdon in the miniseries Fosse/Verdon and Charity Barnum in the musical hit The Greatest Showman.
