Luke Wilson

Luke Wilson (born 1971) is a versatile American actor, writer, and director recognized for his charming, down-to-earth screen presence in both Hollywood comedies and indie dramas. Born Luke Cunningham Wilson in Dallas, Texas, he is the youngest of three filmmaking brothers alongside Owen and Andrew Wilson. He made his feature film debut in Wes Anderson's acclaimed indie comedy Bottle Rocket (1996), a project co-written by his brother Owen that launched all of their careers. Wilson quickly transitioned into mainstream Hollywood stardom, capturing audiences in beloved hits like Blue Streak (1999), Legally Blonde (2001), The Royal Tenenbaums (2001), Old School (2003), and the cult classic sci-fi comedy Idiocracy (2006). On television, he earned praise for roles in HBO's Enlightened and as the superhero Pat Dugan / S.T.R.I.P.E. in DC's Stargirl.
