Alan Ritchson

Alan Michael Ritchson (born November 28, 1982) is an American actor, director, and former model who rose to international prominence for his imposing physical presence and versatile performances. Originally from Grand Forks, North Dakota, he first captured public attention as a contestant on American Idol before making his acting debut as Aquaman in the superhero series Smallville. He later cultivated a dedicated following through his comedic role as Thad Castle in the cult classic Blue Mountain State and as Hank Hall / Hawk in the DC series Titans.
